Carrottop Baby Bottom- Pregnancy

Week 13   This was the first week that my morning sickness went away. I have gotten a tad bit of energy but I'm still waiting on the magical energy surge. I don't believe it exist lol. I started to get round ligament pain in week 12 so that made my hiking, running, lunging, squatting, etc. interesting but once I knew what it was and was assured I wasn't hurting anything    by continuing my routine I felt better. Other than the ligament pain, week 13 was quite uneventful.   Week 14   This seemed to be the week where everything happened. I swear overnight my belly grew ever so slightly enough to make it impossible to button my skinny jeans. I have a bella band and wore it for about a day before ditching it because it was so uncomfortable with jeans. I felt like I was stuffed into my jeans like a sausage. Carrottop Baby Bottom: Pregnancy!!!

Pregnancy is such a great journey but it's a tough one as well. I wanted to share my journey with you. Things have been crazy so I'm kind of playing catch up. I'm currently in week 14 of my pregnancy but wanted to go ahead and post the weeks leading up to now. I would love to hear from all of you.  Weeks 4-7 Also known as the longest weeks of my life. I felt like I had to hide my excitement until I knew it was real. It sure didn't feel real because I was feeling ...

Leg Workout

Being pregnant means modifying all kinds of exercise due to lack of strength and modifying to avoid injury. I'm just 12 weeks and 4 days so I haven't had to modify exercises that have you in a supine position- that will come at week 16. So far, my focus has been on lighter weights and higher reps to keep my fitness level up for a healthy pregnancy. Here is the leg workout I did yesterday. You don't have to be pregnant to take advantage of this workout. Trust me, it will make your legs burn.  Wide stance squats into narrow stance squat 3x15 for each stance Kneeling Squats on SM 3x15 Leg curls 3x20 Cable Kickbacks 3x20 Cable deadlift 3x20 Leg extension 3x20
